Falcons Quilt is dedicated to the memory of Stacey Pennington.
Stacey Pennington died on September 7, 2015. Pennington was the daughter of Stephanie Seldomridge and the late Delroy S. "Skeet" Seldomridge, who died last July. In addition to her mother, Stacey is survived by sons, Conner and Cole Pennington; a sister, Lindsay, wife of Michael O'Connor, of Grasonville, Md.; a niece, Jordan O'Connor; and paternal grandfather, Samuel Seldomridge, of Richland.
Described as a devoted mother, she enjoyed family vacations and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. She was a 1987 graduate of Elco High School and 1992 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She owned and operated The Gretna Emporium, Mt. Gretna, and recently entered her 20th year operating the well-known educational toy and supply store, Resource Island, Cleona, and, more recently, Emporium Too in Cleona.
A member of the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, she was the 2005 recipient of the Leon Hoover Entrepreneurial Spirit Award. She also served as treasurer of the Cedar Crest Middle School PSP and was past president of the South Lebanon Elementary PTP. She was a member of the Mount Gretna Arts Council and the organizer of the Mount Gretna Kids' Art Show.
Memorial contributions may be sent to a fund that has been established for her sons Conner and Cole in care of her mother, Stephanie Seldomridge.
